Cite Them Right Online Training Online
Want to know more about the principles of referencing and avoiding plagiarism?
Then sign up for the Cite Them Right Online Training Session on Tuesday 24th November @ 11am with a rep from Macmillan International Higher Education
Cite them right teaches students the principles of referencing and avoiding plagiarism and supports them in creating accurate references. Cite them right comprises an hour-long, interactive eLearning referencing tutorial (broken into 5 minute segments), guides to each of the standard referencing styles, advice about referencing and plagiarism, as well as a tool to help students reference 150+ sources.
Cite them right means students are actively engaged in building their own references: they learn the academic principles behind referencing, as well as producing relevant results.
The session is for all GMIT students and staff:
Introduction to the referencing tutorial: How it will help, key features, examples of some of the activities.
Introduction to the website: How to navigate Cite Them Right, How to build references, examples of the sources that can be referenced.
Extra for Staff:
How staff might want to direct students to Cite Them Right, and ways to encourage engagement.
Please join my meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
